Delignit Technologies Italia is an authorized distributor of Raclan Maritime Battery Safety Systems (RAMBSS), a modular solution designed for the safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries used in watertoys on board yachts.
The system is designed to safely accommodate batteries, chargers and devices such as Seabobs with permanently integrated batteries, helping to reduce the risks associated with lithium-ion battery charging and storage on board.
RAMBSS combines detection, temperature control, gas management, cooling and containment in a single modular system specifically designed for the marine environment.

Certifications and Approvals
RAMBSS modules are the first and only systems to receive Type Approval by Lloyd’s Register in accordance with the requirements of the MCA MGN 681 Amendment 1 guideline.
The fire suppression insert is certified in accordance with SOLAS and IMO requirements.

- Capacity: designed for lithium-ion watertoy batteries up to 5.25 kWh.
- Advanced cooling: high-performance cooling system using an environmentally friendly fluid. Each module can be flooded individually through a permanent water connection, helping to prevent re-ignition in the event of thermal runaway.
- Gas filtration: multi-stage filtration system for managing gases generated during an incident, with the ability to absorb hydrogen fluoride (HF), hydrogen and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
- Monitoring and control: managed through a PLC and touchscreen interface.
- Safety sensors: equipped with two thermal sensors, one smoke sensor and one gas sensor. Safety components are designed with redundancy.
- On-board integration: can be connected to the yacht’s AMSC system, providing visual and audible alarms.
- Construction: high-strength composite structure designed to help absorb explosion and pressure effects.
- Modular installation: modules can be stacked or mounted to the floor, wall or ceiling, providing flexibility for installation on board.
- Emergency power supply: includes an emergency power supply providing up to three days of autonomy.
- Post-incident management: after an incident, the cooling fluid can be pumped out of the module without opening it.
